Sen. Seal celebrates the dedication of President Donald J. Trump Bridge on I-40

(NASHVILLE) – Yesterday, State Senator Jessie Seal (R-New Tazewell) joined federal, state and local leaders in celebrating the official dedication of the President Donald J. Trump Bridge on Interstate 40 in Jefferson County, honoring the 45th and 47th President of the United States for his leadership and enduring impact on the nation.

"President Trump fought every day to put America first, secure our border, strengthen our economy and restore pride in our country," said Seal. "It is fitting that one of Tennessee's most recognizable landmarks now bears his name. This bridge will stand as a lasting reminder of a president who never stopped fighting for the American people."

The ceremony featured U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Lt. Gov. Randy McNally, Senator Marsha Blackburn, Senator Bill Hagerty, Congressman Tim Burchett (R-Knoxville), and other state officials and community leaders as the bridge crossing the French Broad River near Douglas Lake was officially renamed in President Trump's honor.

The President Donald J. Trump Bridge is located on Interstate 40 in Jefferson County, spanning the French Broad River near Douglas Lake. The designation was approved by the Tennessee General Assembly earlier this year and officially commemorated during Thursday's dedication ceremony.
